Cindy focuses her work in the field of Human Nutrition. Specific interests include Diabetes Education, youth nutrition, increased consumption of locally grown fruits and vegetables and healthy lifestyles through appropriate choices at the worksite and home.
Current Work Focus
- Dining with Diabetes - curriculum and program development.
- Fruit and Vegetable Fact Sheets – promoting consumption of locally grown fruits and vegetables-two team projects: one a youth and parent focus and the second for farmers market point-of-purchase information.
- Healthy Meals at the worksite and meetings - strategies for making healthy choices when planning or attending meetings.
